House Sitting

Hi, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!

We had a lovely Christmas, it was busy and I only had 2 days off work which went very quickly. I had some lovely knitting and fibre gifts.
A ball winder, so I no longer have to spend hours untangling yarn after wrapping it round the back of a chair.

Some sock yarn.

and fibre.

I also got 2 books from my wish list. Crochet Workshop by Erika Knight.

There are lots of things I'd like to make from this book.....

I love this dog bed, but it would take a lot of fabric strips to make it big enough for Fee.

I also got the Fleece & Fiber Sourcebook.

For the next 10 days me and Russ are house sitting for his friend. Its a lovely house with a big garden, that Fee loves but there is no internet or television (Russ is really happy, that he doesn't have to sit through, Murder She Wrote/Lewis/Midsummer Murders, etc. etc.) I'm going to take my spinning wheel and knitting though, so I should get a lot done. The best thing is they have central heating...I love it, its like magic heat :)

Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Lovely lovely !!! Thanks also for showing us some of the crochet patterns...looks like a wonderful book. Have a good house sit. Funny also to see the yarn winder- exactly the same as the one we used to have for my mum's knitting machine!

And as jealous as I am over the yarn, I'm even more jealous over the ball winder! ;) Also, I just wanted to pass along some blog love, so I nominated you for an 'Inspiring Blogger' award. No obligations though. :)

Hi,

I hope that this email finds you well.

I recently came across alexandramason.blogspot.com and would like to discuss the possibility of paying you to display an advertisement on the site.

We have a large customer base of clients prepared to pay to display discrete adverts, contextually matched to the content of the page on high quality sites like yours, and this can be a great way to generate an income without compromising your website.

Please email me back if you would be interested in finding out more and I will send you a follow-up email outlining the opportunity in more detail.

I look forward to hearing from you shortly.
